WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UNT Health COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH?
UNT Health Fort Worth College of Public Health offers a strategic platform for pursuing
a career in healthcare administration, primarily due to its focus on advancing public
health and healthcare equity. UNT Health’s commitment to fostering innovation in healthcare
policy and administration aligns with my goals of enhancing healthcare access within
underserved communities. The college’s research initiatives, aimed at addressing health
disparities and improving care delivery for marginalized populations, provide a strong
foundation for developing a well-rounded understanding of public health challenges.
By choosing this institution, I am confident that the knowledge and skills gained
will prepare me to navigate and address the complex issues in healthcare administration.
Furthermore, UNT Health’s interdisciplinary approach, emphasizing collaboration between
public health, policy, and healthcare sectors, is crucial in building expertise to
effect meaningful change. Engaging with faculty who are dedicated to applied research
and working alongside peers who share similar objectives will deepen my insights into
healthcare administration. Through this program, I aim to acquire both theoretical

HOW DO YOU PLAN ON APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN TO YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
The knowledge gained at UNT Health will equip me with the essential skills to address
healthcare accessibility and quality challenges in underserved communities. I aim
to apply a strategic approach to healthcare administration by focusing on policies
and practices that improve care delivery for marginalized populations. Through a strong
foundation in policy analysis, leadership, and resource management, I plan to support
initiatives that dismantle systemic barriers within healthcare systems. This program
will prepare me to work collaboratively with healthcare stakeholders to enhance service
accessibility and ensure that quality care reaches communities in need, ultimately
advancing equitable healthcare outcomes.
